Meet Matt Schechter, the principal behind Girdwood Capital. Matt’s 30+ year career spans corporate tax, accounting & financial reporting, forensic accounting, and financial planning & investment management. Matt also looks to attain a strong relationship with clients to better act as their fiduciary in their financial journey. Matt and his family bought property in Girdwood in 2008, eventually becoming a full-time resident beginning in 2019. You can regularly find Matt running the local trails and roads in town in his free time.
